Angelo DiGiulio will be stepping down from running the BADL, and will be take part in the transition and knowledge transfer for the new operators.

The winter session will begin Tuesday January 28th for the B & C Divisions.

 

The final week of regular season is currently Tuesday, March 31st. Playoffs will not start until Tuesday, April 14th. Any makeup matches, due to St. Patricks Day, snowstorms, or other reasons can be played week of April 7th.

In the Fall season we are hoping to once again have an “A Division”, which has no restrictions on roster makeup (unlimited A Flight players). The format for the “A Division” will consist of 21 games, and will allow for a 3 person format each night. There is a hard cap on 5 rostered players total.

 

The “B Division” will continue to have 17 games, and will follow a 4 person format.

 

The “C Division” will have 15 or 17 games (to be determined by captains), and will follow a 4 person format.

The cost is $20 for members, prior to May 17th; $30 afterwards. The ticket includes buffet dinner and open bar.

The BADL 2019 Winter session will begin on Tuesday January 22nd. The sooner you confirm your rosters and playing location, the easier it will be to plan the scheduling and divisional breakdown.  If you are playing at a new venue to the league, please go over with them the $75 financial commitment required by the sponsor. This fee is due prior to the start of the season.
 
This information must be received no later than Friday January 18th, or your team may not be part of the season.

Remember no more than 1 A ranked player may play/sub on a B division team. A ranked players are prohibited to play/sub on a C division team.

The annual BADL Awards banquet will be held at the Kenmore Knight's of Columbus on Tuesday, May 29th at 7:00pm. Open Bar and Food will be served. Awards will be given for the 2016-2017 seasons and 2017-2018 seasons.

 

The banquet is open to paid members ($20) and their guests ($30).

Summer Session Playoffs
 
We have reached the end of the Summer Session regular season. As stated before the session began, the top 8 teams will make the playoffs, and the playoffs will last 3 weeks at the conclusion of the regular season. The playoffs will be seeded and follow a standard tournament bracket. 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, etc. The higher seeded team is always home. (EX: 1st place vs 8th place, 1st place team is home)

All-Stars are not tracked during the playoffs. The match is a race to 11. Subs are not permitted to play in playoffs. Only rostered players with a minimum of 4 weeks played qualify.

Summer Session starts June 20th!
 
Team Makeup: No more than 5 players on roster. Minimum 3 players required to play (without forfeiting games). No more than 1 A-Flight player on a given team, that includes subs!
 
*NEW* - Sub Slot Rule Change- Starting for Summer '17- Teams will no longer need to PAY FOR SUB-SLOT! Each team captin will see the Sub-Slot on their roster. This will allow teams to fill the open spot on their team, as per existing BADL team rules, with an available substitue. HOWEVER, the sub slot can only be used if the team is missing enough rostered team members to be short the three(3) players for that night.
 
EX: For summer, if you only are able to have two(2) of your four(4) member team available for a match, you can use the "Sub-Slot" for that night to play with the minimum three(3) required to compete the match. 
If you are able to get three(3) out of your four(4) members you CANNOT USE THE SUB SLOT to fill a 4th member, because you are only need three(3) to compete that night. 
 
Subs can help out on multipule teams throughout the summer as they are needed, but will not accumulate stats or accolades, even as a BADL member.
